Old Bruce Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Here are a couple of glitches. Very difficult to read. ____________________________________ This one does nothing and I don't think it is supposed to be in Publisher. The same item in Photo does open the finder window. Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Jon P Posted March 29, 2019 Staff Posted March 29, 2019 Hi Bruce, I've logged the button not working but can't seem to replicate that text looking odd, does it change at all if you switch between Dark/Light UI? Thanks Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com

Thanks In the light mode all appears normal, doesn't seem to matter what I use for performance OpenGL or OpenGL (basic) or Metal. Neither does anything change with Default or Large user interface. Staff MEB Posted March 29, 2019 Staff Posted March 29, 2019 Hi Old Bruce, Please update to the latest Publisher Beta 1.7.0.283. It should be fixed there (the black text in the Preferences dialog only). A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Old Bruce Posted March 29, 2019 Author Posted March 29, 2019 Hey @MEB & @Jon P I came back to correct that, I do have the latest .283, the problem persists. And to add that it doesn't matter what I set the checkbox to (I like it off) in either light or dark mode the checkbox is checked (always) after quitting and starting again. Should I start a new topic for that bug? Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. Staff MEB Posted March 29, 2019 Staff Posted March 29, 2019 Thank you Old Bruce. I'm seeing the same issue here. Seems it only affects macOS Sierra/High Sierra (the black text in the Preferences dialog only). On macOS Mojave it displays properly. Replace text while typing setting not sticking on re-launch issue logged. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Staff MEB Posted March 29, 2019 Staff Posted March 29, 2019 I wasn't suggesting that. Just stating that it's working fine on Mojave A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Old Bruce Posted March 29, 2019 Author Posted March 29, 2019 Going to put it off as long as possible. Old enough to be stuck in my ways. Staff MEB Posted April 2, 2019 Staff Posted April 2, 2019 Hi Old Bruce, This (black text) should be fixed in the next Publisher's Beta build. The misaligned buttons (bottom right of Auto-Correct dialog) are still being looked at. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

I was expressly advised by a friendly Apple tech that if I was happy with MacSierra I should definitely stick with it vs Mojave.
