evtonic3 Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Adding/Subtracting selection via the layers menu would be great to see. At this time I cannot select more than one layer's contents, I'm not even sure it it's possible in Photo either as I've run in to this scenario as well. If anyone has a good tutorial on how to do this would be awesome. Quote
Aammppaa Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 If you are talking about creating a marching ants type of selection by Ctrl + Click on an object in the Layers Panel, then I think you are right that there is no easy way to add to that selection. I know of one work around, which is to put all the objects yo want to select into a Group or Layer so that you are only need to make a single selection. evtonic3 1 Quote Win10 Home x64 | AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7GHz | 48 GB RAM | 1TB SSD | nVidia GTX 1660 | Wacom Intuos Pro
carl123 Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I think this is now available in the 1.7 betas, using Ctrl + Shift + Click on objects in the Layers Panel Aammppaa 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Staff MEB Posted March 21, 2019 Staff Posted March 21, 2019 Only Adding is available in the Betas ⌘ (cmd) + ⇧ (shift) + click on the thumbnail on Mac and CTRL+ SHIFT + click on the thumbnail on Windows. There's no way to subtract. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
