Jim Smith
I often like to check the 35mm equivalent focal length. This appears in EXIF "All" but not in "Summary". Can I choose what goes in the summary? I don't need to see author or copyright. Thanks, Jim
Staff Dan C Posted February 13, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 13, 2019 Hi Jim Unfortunately it's not currently possible to change which data fields show in the 'Summary' category, although this has been requested previously on our forums before and is something we may implement in the future. I'm moving this thread to Feature Requests and Feedback for our devs to see and consider! Jim Smith 1 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! smadell
Focal length is the one addition to the EXIF summary that I think is needed. IndigoMoon
Are you sure? I can't see it in the latest build.

smadell
This is a screen grab (just made a few minutes ago) from Beta build 127. I'm on a Mac, but Focal Length has been in my EXIF Summary for multiple builds, now. walt.farrell 1 Quote Affinity Photo 2, Affinity Publisher 2, Affinity Designer 2 (latest retail versions) - desktop & iPad Culling - FastRawViewer; Raw Developer - Capture One Pro; Asset Management - Photo Supreme Mac Studio with M2 Max (2023}; 64 GB RAM; macOS 13 (Ventura); Mac Studio Display - iPad Air 4th Gen; iPadOS
IndigoMoon
Ok, I see. So we still have to wait for Windows... @smadell Btw, using the new lens correction filter. Is the camera already preselected on Mac or only the focal length as on Windows?
smadell
I almost never do my Raw development in AP, so I can’t tell you from memory. I will check this out tomorrow morning, and get back to this thread. smadell
I just developed a Raw file in the AP Beta. Here's the Lens Correction filter from after the development. The camera, lens, and focal length are correctly identified. IndigoMoon
Thank you smadell! I've tried it again, and it works also with my newer cameras. But my old Canon 20D with all lenses won't be identified, even though it is in the list. However the focal length is correct.
IndigoMoon
Focal length has been added now in .404 for Windows as well. Thanks for that! Dan C
