  1. 1.10.5.1342 on Windows 10 I opened a RAW (.nef) file, developed it and cropped it to the image seen below... I then tried to increase the canvas size from 932px X 932px to 1000px X 1000px to create an even border by selecting the centre as the anchor point, like this... ...and I got this... Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Jim
  2. Not really. I want the brightness of everything to stay the same. I want the colour saturation of the nebulae to be reduced so that they appear less colourful. I want the colour saturation of the stars to stay the same as the original image so that they still have slightly different colours.
  3. I want to remove the colour from the dark areas. Anything that is so dark that it is black won't matter.
  4. I want to make images of what various astronomical objects look like through small telescopes. Colours of things like nebulae rarely show to the naked eye because they are too faint. Stars, however, can be seen to vary in colour from orange to blue. I want to try processing images like the one attached to make the nebulae much less saturated while keeping the star colours.
  5. Is there a way to reduce the colour saturation of all darker parts of an image while maintaining the colour saturation of all brighter parts of the image? Thanks in advance, Jim
  6. Thanks for the replies. I have now realised that this is best set on the master page using the inside margin.
  7. I forgot to add an allowance for a binding gutter on the inside margin of my document pages. I see I can do this in the Spread Setup window but that only changes the selected page(s). Can I add a gutter to the whole document?
  8. I often like to check the 35mm equivalent focal length. This appears in EXIF "All" but not in "Summary". Can I choose what goes in the summary? I don't need to see author or copyright. Thanks, Jim
  9. Hi, I've just downloaded and started the WIndows Desktop demo. I'm having trouble reading the menu text and recognising the various icons because they appear very small on my 2560x1440 monitor. Is there any way to customise the UI to increase menu font sizes and buttons etc? Thanks, Jim
