fandy
In a UI design program like Figma or Sketch, I get measurements between objects and it snaps automatically so that there is equal spacing. I noticed this wasn't out of the box in Affinity Designer. Is there a way to enable it?
gdenby
Hi, fandy, Note the little magnet icon in the top bar. That turns snapping on and off. The pop-down menu to the right offers the different snapping options. One can also enter numbers for vert. and horiz. distributions from the alignment button just a bit to the left. I don't exactly recall, but I think I had to add that button to the bar. Staff MEB Posted January 10, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 10, 2019 Hi fandy, Welcome to Affinity Forums Turn on snapping clicking the Magnet icon in the main toolbar. Make sure Snap to gaps and sizes is ticked in the Snapping Manager (menu View ▸ Snapping Manager). It should then recognize equal spaces for you automatically. G.M.1986
I wanted to know is there a way to see in real time the measurements between objects like in Sketch, in Sketch we just have to hold alt (option) on MAC and I see all measurement from an object and in relations with others can we do this in Affinity Designer?
