Currently you can rotate a layer either super precise or by holding shift down to snap to 15° angles.

I would like to rotate only in full angles. This could be done either by holding another key down or set is as document property.

EDIT: Just Let it be a configuration option how much the angle is rotated by holding down ctrl. Default of 15° is fine, the next guy might want 5° and I would set it to 1 for full angles.

How to rotate in full degrees:

1.) in the Transform Palette place your cursor into the "R:" textbox.
2.) with arrow up and down keys rotates in steps of 1 degree.

Thanks, this works.

It would still be nice to have a way to do this without clicking into a box and using the keyboard.

Some sort of accuracy setting would help me. I almost never want to rotate in partial degrees with the mouse.

Sorry about that. It was just much too irresistible. :$

Ahhh, missed opportunity. You should have further mis-spelled it, maybe "acuresy", I would've, and I would not have noticed my compounded mistake.

You really want to reduce accuracy?

Then you can preset the amount of decimals for degrees to zero in the Application Preferences.
But this does not affect the angles you create, just the numerical appearance. It might make you feel your perfectly accurecy ;)

Ok, you're right. I meant "snapping". I want to configure the snapping granularity.

@Steps, it was a serious suggestion: you may be disturbed only by decimal numbers in an infobox, not because of the visual difference in your layout *. You'll probably seldom notice on the object itself if it is rotated by 1.1 or 1.9 degrees. Presumably, both appear the same. Therefore, it can be at least a workaround to zero the decimal places for rotations in the preferences.

You can call it OCD if you like, but if I have a group of two images in my collage I want one rotated by 3° and the other one by -3° with some overlap. I would see that the angle is not exactly the same and it would annoy me.

And as you mention it: Yes, I also want a picture to be exactly 15x10 cm and not 14,975 x 9,955 cm as this is somehow unexactly. Even if no one else will ever notice that, I know it's there.

I just wondered why this should not be in the preferences and adjusted the topic.
