shojtsy
When deleting a layer group which contain the currently active pixel layer the layers panel becomes broken and no longer show any layers later created in Photo 1.7.0.188 beta. See animation below.
JFisher
Hi shojtsy, In the latest build (1.7.0.188) the Affinity Photo icon has updated, I can see from your GIF that you're possibly not using the current version? I've been unable to replicate the issue in 1.7.0.188.
shojtsy
Exact same steps reproduce it in the beta for me. I will record another video.
Staff MEB Posted November 29, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 29, 2018 Hi shojtsy, I'm also having trouble reproducing this. Please press and hold CTRL while launching the app until a Clear User Data dialog appears, keep the first three checkboxes ticked and press Clear. I believe it will fix this issue. Let us know if not. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
shojtsy
Please see below the same done with 1.7.0.188. I have tried the Clear User Data advised by MEB, but it does not solve this. PaulAffinity
walt.farrell
I managed to recreate that once, but after that not again, even after closing and reopening Photo. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
