Nick72310
Hello, Is it possible to create a font with Affinity Designer, and then install it to my Windows 10 PC, and use it in Microsoft Word or other applications? (Without paying for a third party software) Thank you
MikeW
You can design the characters that make up a font, but you need to be able to transfer those characters into a font editor to actually create the font. There are font editors that range from free to very costly. There are a couple (maybe a few) people here that use AD to create characters and get them into a font editor. One I believe has some videos of his process you might want to watch. Likely look in the Share Your Work section. Mike

All Media Lab
Hi, This is a free app. You can use the ready made fonts and edit them, or create your own from scratch. And of course you can edit the results in affinity Designer. https://icomoon.io/app/#/select Regards, David Wosven
catlover
You can create the shapes for the font in AfDesigner, then export the glyphs one by one as SVG, import into Glyphr Studio (free ). Glyphr studio creates Otf fonts, not TTF fonts. If you want TTF fonts, Otf fonts, and convert fonts from one to another, try TypeTool, (not free, $40,- or thereabouts). In case of TypeTool, create the shapes in AffDesigner, export as EPS.
