Mr. K
This font is installed on my system and working fine in other apps. Why am I getting this message when I open my document?

There are embedded PDFs inside my Pub doc. Even so, my system has that font installed and active.
Old Bruce
Might be the 'same one' but from a different vendor. I've been hit with that a few times. 59 minutes ago, Mr. K said: Even so, my system has that font installed and active. Mr. K
I found the issue. I copied my document, slowly deleted pages, and then saved, closed and reopened to see if the message was still there. On my last page there was one header that for some unknown reason was saying it was Avenir Medium, rather than Avenir with a weight of Medium. I have no idea how that could even happen. Kudos to you for methodical detective work, I wonder if we could have a system for finding such things, 'find all applied weights'. I will continue to say that if the app knows there's a problem, then show me where it is so I can fix it, or just ask if I want it to be fixed by the app. This should not be so hard. How would I know to use that if the app does not suggest I check there when it warns me there's a problem? I see it now, substitution does not work, but locate does, and that would have saved me a lot of time.
fde101
Maybe the popup could be enhanced to include a button that opens the Font Manager? Old Bruce
