Where is the blur tool ?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone ;)

I can not find the blur tool in Affinity for iPad.

I know it is a drop in the left side with others tools in the Desktop version but it is not one on the ios version...Where is it hidden ?

Could someone please inform me ?

Thank you

Thank to you both ;)

About the blur filter can you, please explain me how does  the "blur range" work ?

(I hope "blur range" is the correct word (I am French and the french word is "flou de champ" that I translate as "blur range" but it may be wrong.)

It concerns the filter with a little point that you can move. You can also add another one. It is above the "blur lens" in the filters window.

I don’t see how it works.

You may be referring to need for blur 'filters' instead of blur brush. There are a lot of filters that allows different types of blur eg. Average, box, bilateral, depth of field, Gaussian etc. example of Depth of Field filter below.

I don’t see how it works.

I don’t see how it works, either! It’s called ‘Field Blur’ in the English version, but I don’t see any effect at all. I’ve tried varying both the Radius/Rayon setting and the Power/Force setting.

@Nadar The Field blur works for me. Tap screen to set second point. Adjust radius down to see effect better.
