RussellBWilson Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 When creating texture maps I sometimes forget to turn off the uv's layer and then see it on my exported texture map. It would be nice if the popup menu for the layer had "Exclude from Export" and then it would ignore that layer when exporting. This would also be helpful for a notes layer, etc., etc. Russell angelhdz12 and Ghost4Man 2 Quote
Texel Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I'd like this also. I often use a temporary background image or pattern for transparent shapes in designer. I'd like to automatically exclude that layer from export. EDIT: I take that back. New to Affinity, I just found I could do achieve exactly this with the Export Persona, excluding specific layers from export only. Also need to check box to honor export exclusions on export. debraspicher 1 Quote
Yuli Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I second this. I have layers used only as guides for snapping that I'd like to mark as "Exclude from export". This would be really useful. Quote
NotMyFault Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Available in V1, but kind of hidden in Export Persona, layer options. Make item visible in export—when enabled, the item is visible and can be exported. When disabled, the item is hidden and can't be exported.
