qwz
How can i do non-rectangular (i.e. round or irregular) image frames? Is there some Paste inside command hidden? Or, maybe it can be made via clipping mask or alpha channel?

AlainP
Just select any shape from the tools, Ellipse or any other, crescent, cog.... then Under the "Layer" menu at the top select "Convert to Picture Frame". You then can place your picture in it. MikeO
Flipping this, if you have a square picture frame that already has content in it, can you change its shape using the direct selection tool or pen tool and grabbing the points? Old Bruce
I think I had to convert the Picture Frame to curves first but yes you can, and if you want to you can grab the edge with the Node Tool and bend it out or in.
