I paste text into a table cell, highlight the table row, right click and choose "Autofit Row to Contents". The bottom of the cell boarder covers the text (see attached).
I have tried working with Character and Paragraph settings to fix this, but I have only fixed the top (setting Space Before to 6 pt, and Use Space Before: Always).

Hi Ray C,

If you edit the Events Table style and ensure Paragraph > Spacing > Sum space before and after is unticked this should behave as you expect.

Thanks

Jon P:

I tried that, and it didn't correct the problem.

I wonder if there is a baseline shift going on here. Make sure its set to zero. Here I've set it to -4pt.

I think its the paragraph leading - setting it to default makes the autofit appear to work

Tried that, didn't work.

Ray C do you have the source of the original text we could look at?

Pauls:

Attached is as close as I can get to the original, these files are updated often, and I don't keep all versions.
This was composed in PagePlus X9 and saved as pdf.
