varlien Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Hey there. New Affinity designer user here and while working today I was trying to split a rectangle shape into equal parts. It's fairly easy to do that in illustrator by simply clicking on the shape and then going to Object > Path > Split Into Grid. Is there something like that in Affinity Designer? Much thanks! Staff MEB Posted January 24, 2018 Staff Posted January 24, 2018 Hi varlien, Welcome to Affinity Forums No, there's no equivalent feature but you can create this easily using Power Duplicate. Check this video tutorial for more info. Patrick Connor 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
varlien Posted January 24, 2018 Author Posted January 24, 2018 Cool! Thanks! That's such a neat feature! Quote
carl123 Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 You can also use a grid Which is flexible enough to allow different widths and height for the individual components of the grid plus different gutter settings. adirusf and ownjack 2 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
