  1. Thank you, @NathanC. I faced this problem, yesterday.
  2. Hey @NathanC, Thank you for the clarification and for bumping the issue with my report. It's good to know this is a known issue and not something I'm doing wrong. I’ll try the workaround using an empty mask layer as suggested. Hopefully, this gets resolved in a future update — it would really improve the usability of complex documents. Thanks again for your help!
  3. When I mask my photos, the mask layer becomes as large as the entire artboards, even if the masked content is much smaller. This also happens when I import a mask from Affinity Photo—once I edit the mask, it expands and covers the full canvas. As a result, I can't accurately see what is being masked, and it makes my file difficult to work with, especially when aligning or editing layers. Is there a way to prevent the mask from expanding or to trim it to fit only the relevant content? Any help would be appreciated!
  4. Hi @NathanC Thanks for your help, and sorry for the delay—I’ve been quite busy. I’m encountering the following messages: Unlinked Attributes: Layer Effects Unlinked Attributes: Shape I don’t believe I used the Shape Builder tool (though I’m not 100% sure). I always try to keep my objects clean—typically baking the appearance before converting them into symbols. I’ve worked extensively with symbols, and based on my experience, I’ve noticed a few things: Having one or more blue layers inside a symbol can cause issues. I haven’t seen any problems in symbols without blue layers. Sometimes, simply renaming a layer can resolve the issue—though I’m not sure why this works.
  5. If I rename a dotted layer dots are removed, but not the group layers.
  6. Thank you, @carl123. I checked them. it just gives me the layer name.
  7. I'm experiencing an issue in Affinity Designer where some symbols become out of sync even though I do not click the Sync button. This happens as I edit the symbol instances and save my files. I expected the symbols to remain synced unless I explicitly chose to break the link or disable syncing. Has anyone else encountered this behavior?
  8. I faced this problem. I have 215 artbords, and the masks of my photos become so huge. It covers all my artboards, I see only a few lone white lines on my masks, and slows down the performance of Affinity Designer.
  9. I faced the exact same problem. I need to export my pages with different names; this can only be achieved with Affinity Designer.
  10. Adding a Fill Layer on Photo Persona is not working. *** There was no problem other than the small icon on the layer.
  11. Thank you, @NathanC. I will split my feedback and bug reports in the future.
  12. Thanks for sharing, @walt.farrell Intresting! I didn't know that! This ability saves me time. I remember a long time ago when I tried the drag-and-drop ability. It didn't work for me; maybe I tested on other panels like Symbols, Styles, and Character Styles. I checked now; it does work! Thank you. It seems this functionality only works on the Assets panel. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
  13. Thanks @Oufti Intresting! I didn't know that! I've never seen that! I only looked at the bottom to check the number of my selections. I came from Adobe apps... After 2 years, I found this "Double-click to reset" 🤪 Thanks for reading my message and sharing your information with a video. ❤️
