I'm not Patrick (obviously!) but the two responses are very different. The question about an image trace facility in Designer is something that we've been told Serif will add when they feel they can do it properly; Matt's "shakycam" teaser video, on the other hand, shows an early version of Affinity Designer for iPad working five months ago.

Try again. My first application didn't get a response, so after about a month I applied again and was accepted into the beta test programme almost immediately.

Adobe Capture Is A Photo App to Use Camera To Take Photo or Photos To make shapes For Illustrator May be worth making for IPhone app:)

When ready I would to Beta test Serif Designer for IPAD

The twitter video looks quite promissing!:) Please take your time to make it right. It took some updates to make the photo app stable on the iPad, the reviews were mixed the first releases.

That’s what I usually do on my Windows laptop, but the option won’t be available if the OP is visiting the forums on an iPad.
