TEcHNOpls
Hi, I'm looking for some easy ideas how to add frost to my photos, for now, I was looking at: http://www.tutorialwiz.com/frost_and_snow but it's not possible in AP. Any ideas? Or maybe more advanced and realistic method you know of? Quote "I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK, I sleep all night, and I work all day..." R C-R
You should be able to get similar effects using Affinity Photo's Channel Mixer adjustment, for example with settings like this: I suggest experimenting with different Blend Modes & Opacity settings to see what works best. Average seems to work fairly well at 100% opacity on the images I tested with; while Screen, Add, Glow, etc. were much too strong & artificial looking unless I reduced the opacity considerably. carl123
1. Select > Select Sampled Colour 2. Click on something white in image 3. Increase tolerance (100% in this image) 4. Add HSL adjustment layer 5. Set Luminosity Shift to maximum (100%) 6. Grab your coats, winter is coming soon, boys and girls.
