Vernon Nash Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Great to see Nikon HE is being implemented. I am currently deciding whether to get the Z8 and lack of HE and HE* support in Affinity was a concern. Pauls 1 Quote
Ed Stout Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 As a Canon R5 Mark II user I am very pleased to confirm that AF Photo Beta 2.6 is accepting Canon CR3 RAW files. Brilliant, can't wait for V2.6 to come in full. Patrick Connor, Pauls and Chris B 1 2 Quote

As you're new here, you may not be aware that Affinity Photo gets its lens support via the lensfun project, so that lens should be supported shortly after lensfun provides support. At their website you can learn how to request that lensfun add support, as well as how you can help the do that (or even how you can perform the calibration and produce the necessary data yourself). Creativityintheunborn Posted May 15 Posted May 15 (edited) I noticed that the lensfun database now has far fewer PENTAX lenses than what Affinity Photo had last Summer. I previously had lens correction lens profiles for the following lenses I own: HD Pentax-D FA 21mmF2.4ED Limited DC WR, HD Pentax-FA 43mmF1.9 Limited, HD Pentax-D FA* 50mmF1.4 SDM AW, HD Pentax-D FA* 85mmF1.4ED SDM AW, and HD Pentax-D FA Macro 100mmF2.8 ED AW. So the only lens correction lens profiles I have available are for my: smc Pentax-FA 31mmF1.8 Limited, and smc Pentax-FA 77mmF1.8 Limited lenses. I also noticed many other Pentax lenses missing that used to be part of the lens corrections lens profile database. Edited May 15 by Creativityintheunborn Quote

Presumably you mean that Affinity Photo has fewer lens profiles listed now, not the actual database. What OS do you use? Do you know what release you were using the last time you had all the profiles available? And is this just in the Beta, or in the retail release, too?
