khalifah iskandar
i5-2500S, SSD SATA, GTX1650 4Gb, 8Gb RAM, run a forced pirated Win 11 with Ventoy. for nearly 6 months now. i am making stickers printout with imported PNGs, my afdesign file exceeding 250Mb, linked files are embedded, not linked i import PNGs, i placed them beautifully per 5cm square grid (to be cut at the printing) on 32 x 48 paper, my afdesign file worked fine to 10 artboards, consist of 54 PNG in each, when i close AD and reopen the file, AD gimme warning the file is corrupted, unfortunate for me, i delete those imported PNG to make sure i don't have repeated image for my sticker's printout. yeah, Bummer. to the max need some technical explanation for this, since this old PC can handle many projects in Davinci Resolve Fusion, After Effect, Fine with some lag here and there. upgrade is not an option for me. GarryP
I can’t speak for Serif but I don’t think that they would condone any illegal use of software, even if the software being used illegally is not theirs, regardless of personal circumstances. Because of that, I imagine that they might hide/lock this thread, and/or take some other action(s). I could be wrong about this however; it’s not my call to make. GarryP is correct, we don't condone illegal use of any software or Operating Systems. The fact you're having to use Ventoy to get Windows 11 on your machine suggests that Windows 11 has been modified in someway to get around restrictions, who knows how this affects our apps and other apps installed on the machine. With that in mind, we can't support our apps running on your system. However, as you're a legitimate Affinty V2 licence holder and your file is corrupted, please upload the file here or send it to affinity@serif.com and we'll see if we can recover it for you. I worked for a company which had prominently placed posters asking people (the employees) to report any instance of pirated software use to an industry watchdog organization. I asked the company's owner about them and he said "I hate thieves, and I try not to be a hypocrite."
