Deleting "learned" words from spellcheck?

Recommended Posts

Hallo
Couldn't find a post for this topic. Sorry if this is a already asked thing.
While Spellcheking in Publisher, I let the software "learn" a wrong word. I want to delete it from the spellchecking for the future, but can't find a list or option to see the new learned words and how to manage them?

The search for Learn + Spellcheck gives good results.

But you should precise wether you're using a Mac or a Windows version. ;)

I apologise for any approximations in my English. It is not my mother tongue.

Normally if you right-click a learned word you will see an option to Unlearn it

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

See "To ignore a misspelt word on the page:".

As I understand it, the OP is asking about how to delete (remove) a misspelled word that was accidentally learned (IOW, marked as correctly spelled by selecting "Learn Spelling" from the popup menu.) It is not about how to ignore a misspelled word.

That's it. Thanks a lot.
Would be nice if there is a list of ALL the "new" words, to manage. But i think this will do. Thanks again.

Right. I have mild dyslexia and hit “learn” two or three times for made up words (fantasy story) and didn't see the spelling error until after spell check -.-

Truth.

Removing a poorly learned word is not mentioned in the Help at all.
