abra100pro Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 On my MacBook Pro M1, 16GB of RAM, >300GBs free on SSD, The affinity Apps take their time to start: A.Designer, for instances used 31 Seconds, right now, after I used it yesterday without shutting down the mac. A.Publisher (also used yesterday) made 41 hops in the doc until the starting lable came up. A.Photo made 46 Hops. I consider this highly improvable. Photoshop (latest, but ever since I have this Mac) needs 4 Seconds, teeth brushed and shoes on. Quote

wonderings Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 It seems to only be with the initial startup. I have an M1 Max (32 gigs of RAM, 1 TB flash drive) and opening Design V1 with latest updates took 26 seconds. Closing Designer and opening it again takes maybe 1 second. *** Edit Sorry just realized I was in the V2 forum, so can't say that my times are relevant for V2. Quote
