Phil_rose
Hi all, I am laying out this book with 320 live band images as per the attached shot. Each one has to have its filename (exc .jpg) as a title added. I don't suppose there's any way to have Publisher source file names and slap them on the images as in the in the attached image? Like I say, long shot. Obviously I could then rotate all the names to make them punk rock and wonky! As I say, long shot but thought I'd ask. Thanks! Phil Quote I like turtles! David in Яuislip
You should be able to do that with data merge Use the spreadsheet to strip the file extension Column B formula is =MID(A2,1,C2) Column C formula is =FIND(".",A2)-1 thomaso 1 Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/

(ps: how about a horizontal signature, less long?) Possibly you can use Data Merge to place images together with text. dwhite and David in Яuislip 1 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

Yes, please consider this because it will reduce the amount of scrolling needed to see all of your posts. For me, it is annoying enough to have to do that that I often just skip to the next topic. David in Яuislip
The Help re. data merge is pretty good. I have shown how to strip the file extension If the OP can reply with particular problems with Publisher data merge then they can be addressed but the signature needs to be fixed first Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/
