MKe Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 (edited) Hello everyone, I follow the Publisher help text (see below - 1) and set up DIN A5 landscape layout pages with borders of 14,1 mm - to comply to the printer default to have such a border on the page end . For printing, I set the Epson Driver to DIN A4 Landscape but then always get only a part of the layout pages put onto the sheets, as shown by the pink preview borders...independently whether I choose a paper size (A5/A4) by myself or as per "printer driver". Totally confused as not aware of any help, guidance or manuals. ANY hint is appreciated. Tnx, Martin 1) Publisher Help Text Adjust the book or brochure to the planned size of the document. For example, if you want to design a newsletter in DIN A5, set the page size to A5. This page size (as 2 pages per sheet of paper) is often placed on A4 sheets of paper by imposition, as these can be processed by standard desktop printers. Edited February 13, 2024 by MKe typos Quote

MKe Posted February 13, 2024 Author Posted February 13, 2024 (edited) Thx, so far - please note the SC-5000 has no duplex functionality and no "brochure" mode in its driver either... Edited February 13, 2024 by MKe typo Quote

Are you sure the previewed size indicators (dark vs red line) are sufficiently reliable? The dialog currently shows "100%" for the print size, this seems to indicate that the layout document has another aspect ratio then the A4 sheet. What does the preview look like … … if you choose not to adjust the size, or a different "Anpassungstyp"? … if you don't choose brochure? MKe Posted February 13, 2024 Author Posted February 13, 2024 thomaso, (my first reply did not show up, I redo..) Printed results look like in the preview, independent from a) whether I choose "scale to papersize and independent from b) what paper size I specify i) A4 or "defined by driver" or "define manaully"... I'm stucked, especially as I do not see a way to resemble the "ausschiessen" into a pdf... Quote
Hilltop Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 For printing booklets and such yourself, it's important to use good imposition software. Montax Imposer is free for paper sizes up to A4, allowing you to print A5 booklets. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted February 14, 2024 Staff Posted February 14, 2024 @MKeIt's worth rechecking your printer settings/properties, especially regards to print margins. The screenshot is with your file (from your other post) open on my system. It's set to print on A4 using the Booklet option. As a workaround have you tried exporting to PDF and then printing, some PDF viewer have more print options available that may help. Quote
