dtpunger
Using a pixel brush both in Affinity Designer Pixel Persona and Affinity Photo, shows the difference. In Affinity Photo the brush's opacity is 100 percent, in Affinity Designer Pixel Persona the opacity is reduced.
walt.farrell
We would need to see a more complete screenshot, I think and preferrably of the entire application window, including the Context Toolbar and the Layers panel with that pixel layer selected. Or, a sample document with the problem. dtpunger
Here I used a picture brush of my own. In both apps, the opacity of either the brush itself and the layer is 100 percent. Attached are both samples. AD_Pixel_Persona.afdesign AffinityPhoto_doc.afphoto walt.farrell

dtpunger
Here come the brushes. Btw, I experienced the same issue with other picture brushes too. Eigenes.afbrushes
Staff stokerg Posted November 1, 2023 Staff Share Posted November 1, 2023 Hi @dtpunger, I've just installed the brush and it's working fine for me. I suspect you may have had Wet Edges enabled on the toolbar bar along the top, as when I enable it, I get the same reduced opacity you show in your screenshot. dtpunger
You're right. I almost looked at everything, but I missed the Wet Edges. Thanks for your hint. stokerg
