Using a pixel brush both in Affinity Designer Pixel Persona and Affinity Photo, shows the difference. In Affinity Photo the brush's opacity is 100 percent, in Affinity Designer Pixel Persona the opacity is reduced.

We would need to see a more complete screenshot, I think and preferrably of the entire application window, including the Context Toolbar and the Layers panel with that pixel layer selected. Or, a sample document with the problem.

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. Hi @dtpunger,

I've just installed the brush and it's working fine for me.

I suspect you may have had Wet Edges enabled on the toolbar bar along the top, as when I enable it, I get the same reduced opacity you show in your screenshot.
