KipV Posted August 16, 2023 Share Posted August 16, 2023 After installing the latest betas of Designer and Publisher 2.2 1954 I can no longer used the delete button to get rid of an object. If I wanted to delete a layer in the latest beta of Photo it will work. Right now I am going to Edit > Delete. If for any reason you still have the problem, prior to seeing @MikeTO's post I'd run a factory reset by launching Publisher and Designer whilst holding the Ctrl Key and selecting all options in the top section which also fixed the delete key not working to delete items but of course that achieves the same thing resetting any keyboard shortcuts... Try @MikeTO's option first and see if that fixes the issue for you... This bug appears to have been fixed in Publisher. I tried to see if it was fixed in Designer but the window will not show up for me on the laptop. (I can see it in stage manager and expose only and probably on my large screen if I had access to it.) So right now I can't test that bug on Designer. Cannot delete textboxes nor from the file itself or the levels tab/panel. The ONLY way I'm able to delete any item is right clicking on the mouse and then "eliminate" but only if done from the layers panel, which is obviously a hassle. Please help!
