PeterB.
Hello, this topic has been on my mind for a long time. Is it now possible with Affinity Publisher V2 to give only individual pages of a spread a different dimension? I know how to give both pages a different dimension, but unfortunately that doesn't help me for a self-mailer with registers. If that doesn't work, I'd be interested to know if it's at least on the feature list for the future. Thanks!

Unfortunately this isn't possible currently, a spread will always have the same left and right page size at this time. However this has been requested previously and is something our developers may look to add in a future update - I'll move this thread to the Feature Request section of the forums to be further considered. I hope this helps PeterB.
PeterB.
Thanks a lot! This feature is one of the few things that I really really miss compared to INDD.
Khepr
This is the one feature that prevents me from changing to Affinity Publisher. I do a lot of book covers and dust jacket designs and these days the material needs to be a multipage spread (to allow for adjustments and localization changes in the printers if needed) for the printing houses the publishers use. I am sure that there are others who feel the same way. When this becomes available, that is the day I am willing to change from ID to Publisher. Cheers! PaoloT
The Book feature should allow for this. But I can’t try at the moment. Paolo
joseb
Hello to all, Does the new version 2.4 of Publisher solve this problem? Is it possible to apply different page sizes on the same spread? For example: A4 on the left page and A3 on the right page. Edited March 12 by joseb
Dan C
Hi @joseb, Welcome to the Affinity Forums Affinity Publishers most recent update (v2.4) unfortunately does not change this behaviour, and within one documents spread both pages must be the same size, at this time. You can have different page/spread sizes across different spreads, but not within the same spread currently - this remains as a feature request with our development team. I hope this clears things up! joseb

A workaround would be to use a separate document based on Designer artboards aligned as an "irregular spread". As long as it's saved with the afpub suffix, you can then combine it with your regular layout using the Book feature. I haven't used it in practice yet, but I remember testing it a while ago and I think it would have worked.
