Hi, is there's a shortcut or a way to configure a shortcut for the "export slices" button in the Export Persona in Designer?

See screenshot below.

I do not want to use the mouse to click on that Export Slice Button everytime. Is there way to configure a shortcut for that?

@annamilano All available shortcuts are listed in the apps Settings > Keyboard shortcuts. Such as the ones to switch to the required panel. However there aren't any for that particular function, they've been previously requested, so may be something considered for a future update/version.

A shortcut for that function would be a great!

Do you mean the keyboard shortcut for exporting each specific slice? What if there are hundreds of them - how will the shortcut be distinguished?
Or do you mean the keyboard shortcut for exporting all slices created and enabled for export (bottom right button "Slices exportieren"), which you didn't mark in your image?

@annamilano,

The Continuous checkbox may be what you are looking for (I have no real idea what it is you are needing). This will regenerate the export every time you save the file. Note that it will overwrite the exported file already there in the destination folder/directory, so it may not be what you are wanting.

Caveat. This will need to be rechecked and exported each time you open the document. It is not 'sticky'.

Thanks, but that's not what I am looking for.

I am in the Export Persona and I export the file, than I change a word IN the Export Persona and export it again, than I change a word again IN the Export Persona and export the file again.

I do this a lot of times (and not leaving the Export Persona) and I wonder if there is a way to use the export function as a shortcut so I do not have to use the mouse to click that button I marked in my screenshot.

Are you doing this editing so as to generate three separate exported files? Or are you wanting to have just the one exported file? If the latter then you would benefit from using Continuos. If the former then you are out of luck regarding an assignable Keyboard Shortcut.

Well as there are several ways to export slices, namely any single selected one (red rectangle) or all slices (green rectangle), the question is which one you usually use and did meant here? - For the red rectangle one it's hard to accomplish as there could be several such slices in the slices layer overview and which one to trigger then individually by a keyboard shortcut. So IMO it makes only sense for the all slices (green rectangle) to have a shortcut then.

As there is no setable shortcut for the "all slices" button available, you actually can only use some clever third party macro tool in order to simulate a button press of that one associated with some general keyboard shortcut.

Export again performs the exact same export that was performed last time, without dialogues, directly. Infinitely helpful when tweaking and refining your product through a series of iterations, and especially when the output file is used directly in another program.

Although it has already been mentioned here, just to be sure:
