DGee Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Hi All, The color picker seems to be getting the fill color from other object and applying it as the stroke color of the recipient object. At this point I have tried everything and I'm desperate. If I create a new document everything works as expected. I can see in the History that the tool id applying a fill ( set fill ) but in this document, it always shows as set line fill. WTF 🥺, it´s a very simple document with plenty of rectangles with fills. Any idea of why this may be happening? Thanks Quote
DGee Posted March 3, 2023 Author Posted March 3, 2023 Nevermind, I guess it was a bug. I ended up creating a new document. Ron P. 1 Quote

Dan C Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Thanks for letting us know @DGee, do you still have a copy of the document where this occurred? I would be interested to investigate this further to try and identify the cause if this is something you can provide here Quote

Raydar Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Hi, I am trying to use the color picker to select a color (nothing more), but when I select a color the entire image changes to that color. I am trying to select a color for the flood fill feature, but from reading the forum, it seems like the programmers have put behaviors into these tools which make them really difficult to use. I have unticked the apply to the entire image box and it still does it. I am using version 2.0.4. Even when using the flood fill feature, it doesn't allow me to flood fill the white space around my image (which is all I am trying to do, should take a milli-second and be super easy), but it just changes the color of the main image when selecting the color from the color window. Any ideas on how to get Affinity to select a color without forcing color changes on areas of the image that I haven't asked for? And using the flood fill feature to color the white space around an image? I have watched a few YouTube videos and read these forums, but nothing works with my version, the forced behavior to change my entire image color remains. Thanks Ray Quote
