Mac Geek
I use an iPhone to take pictures. I want to print my pictures in larger sizes. I need to increase the pixel size. I chose the Affinity Photo app because it was recommended by another Mac user. I have managed to resample and sharpen my photo. I want to export it to Shutterfly. The default file type in Affinity is not compatible. I have tried to change the file format to PNG, JPEG, and GIF. It takes forever for it to render the preview and then it is a blank page with lines on it. I am still in the trial period with this app and if I can't get this figured out I will not purchase it. I tried Adobe Photoshop, and it is not designed to work with a Mac, in that you cannot open photos from the photo library. Thanks in Advance

Komatös
Have you had used the export function from the file menu? Or do you used save as? With save as, you can save only in Affinity formats. And save works only for other pixel formats if they are flatten, otherwise the save as dialog would come up. Mac Geek
I have tried to export to a different file type (GIF, JPG, PNG) and it just says "generating preview". I

That doesn't seem right, but you probably don't have to wait for the preview. Have you tried clicking Export anyway? It also says "Estimated File Size: Calculating..." on the right of your screenshot I don't think you get the preview until that completes (in most cases) But as Walt alludes to, you do not need to wait for either of these to complete to do an export If it gets stuck doing the export then that is a problem Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
