walt.farrell Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 To try recovering, there are two Reset functions: Preferences, Reset, Reset Brushes Completely close the app or restart the iPad. Start the app and do a 1-finger double-tap on the app's Splash screen. Choose Reset Brushes there. Did it start out this way after you installed, or did it initially work properly, and then the brushes disappeared? Affinity-Inspiration Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 Neither option works. No brushes. To my knowledge this is the way it’s been from the start. Affinity-Inspiration Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 I just deleted the app from my iPad, and reinstalled from the Apple App Store. The problem remains. Amber_Mtl Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Hi! After using V2 for a few days without issues, now I experience the same problem. I bought several add-ons. While it take a long time to install, it works but then when I open a document the brushes section is empty. Quote
Aline64 Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 Same problème for me. Empty but only on ipad. Everything is ok on my MacBook Quote

Staff Lee D Posted November 30, 2022 Staff Posted November 30, 2022 To confirm anyone with this issue, you have fully removed/deleted the app from iPadOS and then done a restart of the iPad. Then downloaded the app again from the App Store, installed and the Brushes studio is still empty? Which Model iPads are they and which version of iPadOS are they running? Quote

I had this problem, but it was solved by some good advice from one of the techs. Double tap the Splash Screen as it’s loading. Select all, except Deactivate and one other. The last two. Don’t select them. If you do it’s ok you just need to reactivate your app again. Easy. This solved the issue for me. Everything back in place. It’s NOT like the Reset available from Preferences. Amber_Mtl Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Hi! Thanks to all for following up on this. The issue is only partially resolved. I did a complete reset of the iPad and fresh install. Brushes are correctly loaded but there's glitches (see pic). On iPad Pro 2021 12.9" (5th) using 16.1.1 thanks Quote
Amber_Mtl Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 Hi Lee, unfortunately today all my pixel brushes vanished again from Designer V2…😬 Section is empty after the app crashed… Unable to load any new brushes after several tries. Quote

Amber_Mtl Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Thanks a lot DM1! I can confirm this option works but as soon as the app crashes again I’m left with an empty panel… Not sure what is causing this. Quote

Amber_Mtl Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 Thanks for following up. Yes, I've been having glitches - on and off like in the pic - in the brushes panel (both persona) since V2. Automatic install of updates is on + fresh complete reinstall from yesterday. It is at 2.0.3. Maybe the update in the background is what suddenly caused issues for me yesterday. Anyhow, brushed are loaded now! Fingers crossed. Will do follow up here. DM1 1 Quote
