Missing checkboxes while using StudioLink

Checkboxes? I don't see any, but as far as I know there aren't any.

Do you mean the Layer visibility indicators? Those are an odd kind of radio button now, and I see them when using StudioLink on my iPad, but they seem to be missing in your screenshot.

Also, if you're using StudioLink, this might be better posted as a Publisher bug, in my opinion, since that's the app you're in.

@walt.farrell, by checkboxes I meant the new dots thing which replaces them. Sorry for any confusion — it’s still weird to me to call them anything else.

Edit — you are right, I should’ve posted to Apub instead. All Studiolink bugs belong there.

@DM1 Thank you for taking the time to explain but I know how to hide and show layers. I was merely pointing out a bug. The “checkboxes’’ are sometimes disappearing, they were not hidden. See difference below:

But even Hidden, the controls are visible for me.

It's the same in ADe itself, so it doesn't make a difference.

Yesterday I've noticed that bug, too. It seems to be always like this in a new document.
But the workaround to get them back is to select something from the menu that would refresh the Layers panel display.

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2
