But V2 does have changes in this area, and will sometimes enable Hardware Acceleration in cases where V1 did not enable it. So it might be worth disabling Hardware Acceleration in the application, as this FAQ describes: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. SkyKan Company Posted December 17, 2022 Author Posted December 17, 2022 Why is nobody doing anything about it? It's been over a month and nothing. The program doesn't work. What did I pay for? Quote

Twolane Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 Win11 x64 - I just yesterday had Photo2 and Designer2 refuse to open. Both locked up while the small opening rectangle displayed, and then the programs froze. I opened Task Manger and closed them manually and was able to proceed. SrPx 1 Quote
