GarryP
While using the Paint Brush Tool you can swap between the Stroke and Fill colours by pressing the X key. Apparently we can also set the Stroke and Fill colours to Black and White by pressing the D key, but I can’t get that to work for me, but that might just be my set-up or something to do with Windows version of the software (I’d need to do more checking). I don't think this is a default shortcut, you have to set it yourself. GarryP
It’s a default in the Help – see attached image – but I can’t find it in Preferences / Keyboard Shortcuts.

GarryP
<light-hearted-sarcasm> Ah, ‘Miscellaneous’, of course, why wouldn’t I look there rather than in the “Edit”/”Editing” section like it is in the Help? And I notice that the X key is described as “Toggle Fill Context” which describes that function perfectly clearly. </light-hearted-sarcasm> Thanks carl123. I wonder why the D key isn’t set by default in Windows; maybe just an oversight I guess.

I can confirm this is a known and logged issue - as the D key is set as default on macOS for this option. I'll get this 'bumped' with the dev team GarryP
