pixeldroid Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 I've encountered 2 files where when I try to copy layers that have live distortion applied, Designer hangs or crashes. Toggling hardware acceleration doesn't change things. Problem goes away if I delete the live filters from the layer being copied. File is private but I can send a copy if you want to test. Thanks. Ron P. Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 You've posted in the Photo Bugs found on Windows forum. If necessary, a moderator will move this to the proper forum. I'm going to assume you're running Windows OS, correct? They may also ask for the crash reports, so please attach the most recent relevant to the crashing to your next post. walt.farrell Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Or possibly @pixeldroid meant Photo, not Designer, since they also referred to Live Filters? pixeldroid Posted April 13, 2022 Author Posted April 13, 2022 Crash reports are attached. Yes. Windows. @Ron P. I don't see what would lead to the assumption that this is the wrong forum. Thanks. AD.crashReports.7z Quote

You said that Designer has the problem. pixeldroid Posted April 14, 2022 Author Posted April 14, 2022 OH!! So embarrased. Sorry about that Quote
Staff NathanC Posted April 14, 2022 Staff Posted April 14, 2022 Hi @pixeldroid, Could you also provide the file/test copy which you are encountering the crash on so I can see if the issue can be replicated? Below is a private dropbox link if you wish to upload it there. https://www.dropbox.com/request/2W5X4DeB603GImz5uuKw Quote
Staff NathanC Posted April 20, 2022 Staff Posted April 20, 2022 Hi @pixeldroid, I've not been able to replicate a crash/freeze from copying the live perspective layers demonstrated in your document and these work as expected after pasting multiple times on both Mac and Windows. Perhaps a crash report could provide some more insight into why this is happening on you machine, could you upload a crash report from the latest instance of this occurring? The below thread details how to find these. Quote
