Windows 11 Latest Version of AD Crash happens with and without hardware acceleration. I have 2 views open on separate monitors. I have a file that with some compound vectors. After a few minutes of editing individual points in transform mode, AD becomes unstable (can't select edit points) and then disappears. AP doesn't crash so far, but the same instability issue were I am unable to select edit points occurs. Let me know if you want me to send the file. It is not complex. Thanks.

@walt.farrell Revert worked. Thanks a ton for the quick reply! The panel remains a bug on top of a property that shouldn't exist, though I think it would be great to be able to fill/stroke a Text Frame (pia to do it manually).

I've encountered this issue in AD 2.0.4 When I create a new text layer of any kind it has a white background. I followed @pbasdf advice above to access the Text Frame Panel by creating text on a curve. The Text Frame button shows up, but it doesn't open the panel. I don't see a fix outside of copying a block from a different document. This is bad.

I'm truly curious how this could not get fixed in a major design app. Surely there is a project manager and user testing.

Excellent job on adding warp and nice new icons are super well designed. Please add the capability to hide the selection outline in Designer - it's super annoying to have it in the way when doing fine positioning. Hiding w/spacebar fails when curser is in a numeric field.

I've installed the G'Mic plugin into C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Photo\1.0\Plugins and have "Allow Unknown plugins to be used" enabled, but it is not showing up in Affinity Photo. I have another plugin in that folder which does show up, so I know Photo is checking the folder. I've checked the security on the files and of course restarted Photo several times. Date on GmicPlugin.8bf is 6/22/2022 Any suggestions? Thanks.

A few months ago I upgraded to 2 4K monitors and all 3 Affinity programs now lag on just about every action. The lag is very short, but annoying and Affinity's are the only programs that display this behavior. I've disable graphics acceleration in Publisher and Photo. Any ideas on a fix? I've encountered 2 files where when I try to copy layers that have live distortion applied, Designer hangs or crashes. Toggling hardware acceleration doesn't change things. Problem goes away if I delete the live filters from the layer being copied. File is private but I can send a copy if you want to test. Thanks.

I format the text as a hyperlink, then add the actual link in a PDF editor. My current favorite is PDF-XCHANGE Breaks the workflow when iterating a design, but what can you do?

I've been asking about this for years. Everytime I use Affinity Designer this frustrating oversight begs the question of how the devs don't fix this. With more than 30 years in of almost-daily CG production under my belt, I guess I can say that to the devs that this is incredibly unimpressive.

The capability to merge points would certainly be useful and in some cases an order of magnitude more efficient when editing. It's a basic function.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of those options. But they are not helpful in this situation. There should be an option to hide all indicators of things being selected so that modifications are fully wysiwyg.

Nasty. FWIW, I had a bad RAM module that caused a BSD. Took me weeks to figure out the problem...

Is it possible to hide the layer bounding box when kerning or making other type adjustments using kbs? Obviously the spacebar can't be held down during this process. Thanks.

Do you get BSDs outside of this?
