My Strawberry Monkey Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Hi All, In this lesson we look at using the new Art-Boards tool to create slides so we can create some simple animation within Keynote. Even though Keynote is designed for presentation it has some great built in tools. Affinity on its own its amazing but when you start to use it in your workflow with other applications it takes it to a whole new level. Enjoy... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouK5s88sJFg MacGueurle, MattP, Leigh and 3 others 6 Quote About me: Trainer at Apple, Freelance Video Editor, Motion Graphics Artist, Website Designer, Photographer. anon1 Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Very nice idea and nice and short tutorial! I like your design and the approach as well as the result. And I found the spacing guidelines in keynote (and pages) super awesome as well! Three days after I got my Mac I did my first keynote which came out very well and I used these guides all the trine! jmac Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Very nice tutorial! Aside from the helpful Affinity Designer information I have never used Keynote and had no idea that was possible. My Strawberry Monkey 1 Quote
anon1 Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Yeah keynote is such a wonderful application. As well as pages! I love them both for their ease of use.I also have Microsoft office and for the last presentations I was forced to using PP and it's just awkward ... The slides on the left don't even scroll smoothly but in discrete positions which drives me crazy! The only thing I really don't get is why you can't insert headers or footers in pages. I mean you can insert page numbers or simple text headers but I hean't found a solution for using an image as a header yet.... That's sad :/ ;) And you can use an iPhone or iPad as a remote for keynote and using an iPad it´s very convenient to use a "laser pointer" function and you can draw on your slides...it´s just very Apple like :) My Strawberry Monkey 1 Quote

Thanks. It's difficult trying to keep these short. So much more I wanted to do. Keynote Rocks... Great for simple animation as well. Was my first design in Affinity so I thought i'd go back to it now dartboards are added, so much can be achieved now. My Strawberry Monkey Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 Thank you. Very educational and more to the point, which I appreciate. Thank you Madame. Sometimes tutorials can go forever with someone speaking for a t leat 10 mins before you learn anything. So trying to keep these as short as possible.
