Season Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I just bought Affinity Photo last night and within five minutes, I disappointingly saw that there was no .gpr support for GoPro RAW files. Can you please bring this into fruition? Quote
Joachim_L Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Welcome to the Affinity forums @Season! On Windows Affinity Photo uses solely LibRaw, which is third party. As I can see on the LibRaw website there is support for GoPro -> GoPro (via GPR SDK), GoPro Fusion, HERO5, HERO6, HERO7, HERO8. So perhaps we need a statement from the developers here? walt.farrell Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 And the current Camera and Lens list for Affinity Photo shows those GoPro cameras as supported, @Joachim_L. @Season: What OS are you using? Dan C Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 @Season, as well as confirming the OS, can you please confirm the model of GoPro your RAWs originate from? What happen when you try and open these in the Affinity app? Quote
Kjello Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Yeah, doesn't look like Affinity Photo can handle the .gpr format GoPro uses. You need a converter, such as the (free) Adobe DNG converter. Quote

Kjello Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Ah, ok. Just missing the three latest models, then. Quote
CaseyJones Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 I cannot import .gpr files using "file > open" way. The ".GPR" files doesn't show up. I also tried "drag&drop" but a warning pops up and said "invalid file type". Affinity Version : 1.10.61 OS : Windows 11 Quote
