Replace linked Picture in Picture Frame - position not preserved

Recommended Posts

Hello,

when I replace a linked picture in a picture frame in Publisher version 1.9.1.979 the dimensions and the position of the picture in the frame are not preserved. I have to reposition the picture in the frame again. The problem did not exist in previous versions of Publisher.

If I edit and save linked images outside of Publisher I have the same problem. The positions in the Publisher picture frames are completely changed.

Tested with Tiff and JPG

Based on the Release Notes, possibly fixed in today's beta.

Tested today (Beta 1.9.2.998) only with TIFF - The problem no longer exists .

I hope we get a stable version with the bug fixes quickly.

Edit 11.03.2021: The problem still occurs in the beta version. the beta version is not an alternative

If you resize the picture frame (the frame only, not the content), it's wrong with TIFF: image.png.b786b51d7e71c3fefbff9af2ae740472.png

After updating in Resource manager:image.png.2b8861a67f72a8847b076a67f3f7e7cc.png

That is, the image got moved, but invisible:

Then it appears in place.
