Monochromatic icons cab be toggled on and off in all three apps without even closing the Preferences dialog box. This is on Windows and with apps where before 1.9.0 update regular icons were used. Yea, it's fine on Windows and only affects macOS.

0Kami
I have the same nonfunctioning monochromatic icon issue in macOS 11.2. The problem is consistent across all three programs when upgraded to version 1.9.
chrisb
Hi .. same here. Mac Mini M1 (Apple Silicon) on Big Sur 11.2. Fix it ... pleaaaaaaseeeeeee😂 ... it hurts. in add.: the only thing that happens while toggling the checkbox is a change in the size of the eyedropper tool. From default to very small 🙂 Edited February 4, 2021 by chrisb R C-R

neophron
Same here (MacOS 10.15). A strange effect in Publisher, is the size change of the eyedropper tool depending on the highlighting of the monochrome icons.
Staff Patrick Connor Posted February 11, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 11, 2021 We have made fixes/improvements to this area (small icons and no monochromatic icons) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Photo 1.9.1 beta for Mac Affinity Designer 1.9.1 beta for Mac Affinity Publisher 1.9.1 beta for Mac These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.9.1 update/patch to all customers.
