Barrowman
Hi, This is driving me mad. I've trying to do some rudimentary cut-outs and it just won't work. I have two circles, just making an "O" and it just won't do it, the shape is still there visually, but not cutting out. It's happens quite often and it's really annoying the hell out of me, because I can't see any reason why it would do is, so much that I was thinking it must be a bug considering how simple it should be. Thanks in advance.

walt.farrell
Interesting, @haakoo. That could explain it, if the larger object was set to "Fill Mode: Winding (Non-Zero)" via the Layer menu. Edit: And if that's the case, a fix would be to use Layer > Fill Mode to change the result back to "Alternate (Even-Odd)". AlainP
Unless I didn't understand well, I don't have any problem here, just select the two shapes and then the substract button at the top. It substract the shape on top from the one under it.
