Does OS change require new license?

How can I transfer my license from older MAC os to newer os on the same machine? Do I need to buy a new license?

You won't need a new Affinity license for a MacOS upgrade.

If your OS update left the applications installed you shouldn't need to do anything.

If you removed the existing applications during the update to a newer version of MacOS, then it depends on where you purchased the application:

  • Mac App Store: Just login to the store again using the same Apple ID as you used for the original purchase, and the application should be in your Purchased tab, and availabe for reinstallation from there.

  • Serif Affinity Store: Go to https://affinity.store/account/downloads and after you sign in you'll be able do download the installer from your account, and see the product key and email address you'll need when the application first starts.

Hello @bharatand welcome to the forums.

Yes, your licence will work on any Windows machine that you own or control. Did you buy it from Serif direct or from the Microsoft Store? This will affect how you do your new install.
