Stroke line cropped after export

When I export a graphic, part of the stroke is being cut off. 

How do I get all of the graphic to stay inside of the blue box (see attached)?

Use the Align options in the Stroke panel to change the stroke alignment.

I know I've completely missed the point here so apologies! 

I've taken a look at the align options. As per your image, the only way it doesn't crop is if I select the 'Align Stroke to Inside' option. But that has the same results as having no stroke at all?

How do I export my image so that it shows the body and the stroke/outline together?

My apologies. I switched to a grey stroke and a matching grey fill because that’s what you used in your screenshot! Here’s my original example before I recoloured it:

Hey Alfred - still struggling here.

My first image is the design. But I wanted to pad it out more so I added a stroke (settings: align stroke to centre). Image 2 was the result and this is the size / image I want to export. But it crops. So I've tried changing to settings: align stroke to inside, but result is image 3 - right back where I started and no matter how much padding I add or how much I try to resize the image, I can't get it to look like image 2 which is still what I'm after. Hope that makes sense! 

I guess using your image as an example - if you like image one (the size and shape of the 'white', but you want the red border too ... how would you export that? image 2 can't be the result as it negativelt affects the white portion 🥴 Driving myself crazy here

Hmmm. The stroke shouldn't be cut off on any exported file no matter how it's aligned. Even if the stroke falls outside of the object bounding box within an Affinity doc.
In fact I can't make it happen at all.

What file type are you exporting to? How are you exporting... File dropdown or Export Persona? AD APh or AP?

Care to share a file? .... of your Affinity file and the exported file...

 I was just preparing a file to send over (including an export as another example) and this time it has done it without cropping ... most bizarre ... and I'm still using the stroke align centre option. I'm going to need to reverse engineer how I've done this! Thanks for the offer though 👍

In your first post you show the bounding box from the Designer Persona. The stroke will be included in your export. Check to see what happens when you go to the Export Persona and 'create a slice from the layer'. The outside of the stroke will be included.

Maybe a Slice was created using Create from the Layer panel, and only then was a stroke added/expanded that extends beyond the previously created Slice.
