Check out the beta in the beta forum; and if you are not in the mood for that, an update with bugfixes to 1.8 is certainly coming. I just smoke tested the latest beta for Windows, looked better. I would expect a red eared company from Nottingham to release this bugfix as early as they can - although they are probably not tempted to rush it and cause more problems.
