Evgenii Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 I'm not exactly sure this problem appeared with a new update, but I haven't encountered it before. OpenType substitution is not working if the first character has a mark, that's despite having IgnoreMarks flag Left: how it should be, works without accents; Right: substitution doesn't happen if accent is placed It does work in Word however But to make sure I checked another font I know worked correctly in the past: same problem The ligature breaks if the first character is accented: that should not be happening Quote
Staff Gabe Posted July 3, 2020 Staff Posted July 3, 2020 Hi @Evgenii, Sorry for the delayed reply. We are still catching up with the Publisher tickets and we've had an influx of new customers since we went into lockdown. So that we are able to investigate bugs thoroughly could you please follow this link and update this post with the followings: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/71-bug-reporting/ Quote
A_B_C Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Any news on this? I just checked with a font of mine whether lookupflag ignoreMarks is working, but it seems there’s still no good news. 🙂 Quote

I would create a new topic in the current Publisher on Windows Bugs forum, and possibly point to this one as background. But also provide the additional info needed for diagnosis.
