A_B_C Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Hi, here’s another little issue. Type a word (for instance, “Left”) in an Indesign text frame, then use Shift + Tab to right-align another phrase (for instance, “Right”), like so: Shift+Tab.idml Then you’ll get the IDML (XML) context: But the shift tab isn’t recognised at all in Publisher: Please have a look! Staff Patrick Connor Posted February 17, 2020 Staff Posted February 17, 2020 We have made fixes/improvements to this area (IDML Shift+Tab not imported correctly) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.556 for Windows Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.556 for Mac These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.0 update/patch to all customers. Comment from the Developer Quote Fixed to include the Right Indent Tab character and also added all other special characters in InDesign's insert menu. This includes: Indent-To-Here End-Nested-Style ignored since not supported Flush-Space converted to normal space since not supported Page-Number Section-Marker Bonus is that pages can now include page numbers. woefi and A_B_C 2 Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program!
