For some reason, the preview icon for Affinity Photo is not correct. I move the application to the Mac OS X dock and the image is replaced with a generic finder app icon. I have attached two screen capture images to show what I mean. I even deleted the plist file and also did a fresh re-instrall from the mac app store. I do not know what to do to fix this problem.

In game Image Thought I might share something different this week. Have been working on a mod for a well known pc game, I re did the interface and added concept screen art. This image was taken in game, all manipulation done using AP. I am quite pleased with the results, translating photo to tiff and dds files for pc games.

Last version I can recall the layer mask icon updating correctly was the current retail 1.6. It still will not update when you invert or paint on it. I guess it's not that big of a deal, but everytime I invert a layer mask, I look at it to see if it did invert. When it remains white you don't know until trying to paint on it. Please fix this before 1.7 is released for retail. Tried this with a straight layer mask and it works correctly with it. However it does not work correctly with the Filter and Adjustment layer masks.

Had a wander around Wollaton Hall on a rainy day Took the original image and croped and straightened then used the Haze removal to make the rain clouds pop and adjusted the levels then applied a detailed tonal map

Made sure I didnt already post these. All images were taken with a Canon 5DM4. This First Set was taken over mothers day. in Northern California by Discovery Bay. Sigma 70-200 sigma 24-105mm sigma 70-200 sigma 24-105 So 99.99% of the time I will never use an HDR filter too touch up my photography especially in commercial shoots like Realestate. buuuuuuut I gotta admit the tone mapping persona did a pretty good job here. so nicely. done Affinity team. My Client was very happy with the results, this home sold for $4.45million soo ya thats a feel good moment. all of these were done with Sigma 24-105 This was taken with the Sigma 70-200mm I used just the basic RAW editing profile for these images. All were taken by Sigma 24-105 this one belongs with the first real estate set.

I am not a photographer so I don't have the equipment nor the setup to take good photographs to work with. Especially my random food pictures taken with my 170$ phone tend to end up looking so unflattering that I don't even want to share them with anyone because the colors are so bad, the food looks disgusting. I've been looking for ways to make these pictures look more appealing and am pretty proud of the outcome of this one. Of course, it's not even close to perfect and if anyone has any advice on editing low quality pictures, it would be much appreciated. Most editing tutorials start out with professional raw images, which I don't have and a lot of the techniques used come out different than expected, so it's been a tough journey that I fear will only ever end once I get a better phone or camera. Anyway, here's the before (left) and after (right):

Hope someone can help, I am in the process of designing an A3 sheet background with a logo printed on multiple times which is fine that bit is done but I wanted to add a Gradient as well, I can select the tool but as soon as I start to draw out the Gradient my whole system locks up I cant even move the mouse and I have to reboot I have tried this twice but the same thing happened. I have attached the file if it helps L&G A3 Background.afphoto -
