  1. Running Affinity Photo 2 on macOS still has the same issue as mentioned 2 years ago (see link below). double clicking and starting a macro does not work - only sometimes. for more se this link:
Herzlichen Dank.
  3. I'm mindful that this is a question about a third party application, so this is to see if anyone has this experience and found a workaround. I acquired the V2 suite recently and have been working with the Frankentoon Splat! pack. I use a One by Wacom tablet on a Mac M1 running OS Sonoma 14.1.1. After initially working fine, the Wacom pen did not activate the drop down buttons on the Library dropdown that runs the macros in Frankentoon. The pen can though successfully select and activate all the native functions in Designer. Using the trackpad, I can activate the macros from the Library dropdown. This issue is not preventing me from using the Frankentoon app successfully, just that the Wacom isn't working as I'd wish. I'm using one of the pack sample images to test functions, so the issue isn't of my own creation (ie, not one of my own designs). I've successfully edited the sample image previously using the Wacom to select macros. Now this only works via the trackpad. I've quit and relaunched the Wacom app and added AF Designer to apps within Wacom Center to no effect. In addition to this post I will also contact Frankentoon support. Thank you.
  4. Hey guys … I'm sorry if this has been discussed anywhere else, but I'm stymied and I can't find any advice yet. (This is in Photo, obviously.) When I click on a macro that I've previously saved in the Library panel, it will run … maybe one out of fifteen times. Usually it does nothing, and I have to right-click, select "Edit Macro," which opens the Macro tab, and then click the run button there. Very annoying and sub-optimal, especially when I KNOW it's supposed to work by clicking in the Library and it does … but only very occasionally. Anyone know what the problem might be? Am I missing something very simple here? Thanks folks, appreciate it! 👍
  5. Having created a macro to include a signature (a placed .png), then added to the library panel, a simple tip click of the Wacom pen won't invoke the macro execution. A click of the rocker switch as a double click does invoke two iterations of the macro. This is also a problem in Version one of the App.
  6. I know this was an issue in V1, and I was hoping it would be fixed by now, but it seems to be broken still. Macros will not run when selecting them with my WACOM Intuous Pro. Mouse clicks are fine, they just don't respond to the tablet. Anyone else experience this?
  7. I know this was reported for AP version 1.x also. But I cannot run a macro when "clicking" on it with my Wacom intuous pen. If I click on it using the mouse, it works. Weird thing is, it seemed to work on my MacBook (on 1.x), so I though it was a OS/driver and I completely reinstalled my iMac - but it still doesn't work - and still an issue in 2.0. In the attached video, you can se the macro flashes when I click it. I can expand/collapse the groups, and reorder with the pen, but not trigger. Only in the end does the macro run, because I put down the pen, and grabbed the mouse. The tablet is an Intuous Pro S PTH-451 And I see the issue both with and without hardware acceleration. 8. Hi Affinity, I have issues when mapping some shortcuts to Wacom Express-keys and On-screen controls do not work. Affinity Photo. CintQ 22HD DTK-2200 Drivers: 6.3.46-1 (macOS 10.14 - 12) Mac OS Monterrey 12.4 Shortcuts function normally when keyboard is manually pressed. BUT: Some shortcuts do not work correctly when mapped to express key and/or On Screen Control. SHORTCURTS not working when mapped, nor with pen or mouse: -View shortcuts (view fit, command+1) and (view 100%, command+0). If a layer or group is selected in the layer panel at the moment of pressing the express-key: LAYER OPACITY is changed sometimes to 10%, and after a few clicks it may bring it back to 100%. Erratic behavior. -Export shortcut (shift+alt+command+S). Sometimes works, sometimes does not. Erratic behavior. -Library Macros only are only activated when clicked using the mouse. Using the wacom pen does NOTHING. SHORTCUTS working properly when mapped to an On Screen Control: B (brush) E (eraser) Color Picker Tool (I) Thanks.
  9. I have the latest Drivers for my Wacom Tablet on Mac but when clicking on a Macro with the Pen, nothing happens. Is this likely to be addressed by support ?
  10. This was brought up several years ago, but I do not see that there was a fix for this issue. I can get the macros to open/work with a mouse, but not with my Wacom Intuos Draw pen/tablet. There is no preference setting for tablets either. I enjoy AF for my astrophotography processing, but would prefer to use a pen than a mouse. Is there a current fix for this old issue? Thanks and stay well. Fivel
  11. This may be a known problem as I think I saw a post either here or on a FB Affinity group from someone who had this same issue on some MacBook. I hadn't been using macros much until the recent beta because I was in the MacBook Pro subgroup that could not see macro control inputs. Now that is fixed, but I've found (confirmed?) I cannot run a macro from the library panel by either clicking with pen to Wacom Intuos Pro S tablet, by assigning click to one of the pen keys or by assigning click to any of the express keys. I must move to the MacBook touch pad and click there. All other clicks via the tablet seem to be functional (so far). I am running only the beta except I went back to verify this also occurs with the 1.9.3 release. Thank you.
  12. Hello, Just built a macro following the online tutorial. For some reason it doesn't work. I saved this simple macro: 1. Levels are adjusted 2. Unsharp mask Saved it into a library. I open a picture and just click the develop button to move to Photo Persona. I see the macro in the library----> click and nothing happens. I tried clicking the other macros and they don't work either. UPDATE 1: I exported the macro. I can import it and then use it on one picture. It doesn't work from the library. UPDATE 2: Works when I use the mouse...Not the wacom pen !
  13. Hi, Wacom taps or clicks don't work on the macros panel. They work for everything else. I've uploaded a video to show the issue. I can use my Intuos Pro with all the usual panels however when it comes to clicking on a macro, nothing happens and I need to resort to using my mouse. Thanks, Wayne no-wacom-with-captions.mp4.mov
  14. I can easily record macros and store them in the library. The issue is when I click on a macro in the library I have to usually click or double click 3 to 7 times before the macro works. I use them a lot and it is slowing down my workflow. I click and nothing happens, I click again, etc.Its like an analogue button with worn contacts, sometimes it works sometimes it does not
  15. I am experiencing a very bizarre problem playing macros with my Wacom pen. When I click on a macro in the library with my pen it turns blue but the macro does not play. It does very occasionally but on most occasions it requires several attempts (usually three or four) before it responds. If I click in the library with my mouse it plays first time always. I have tried the following: Verified my Wacom driver is up to date and re-installed it for good measure. Tried every variation I can think of in tap speed, pressure and duration. Tried adjusting tip pressure in the Wacom driver. To check if I had a pen tip problem I have tried mapping the left click to the eraser button and the side buttons. No difference. I have tried mapping left click to the tablet touch surface and finger tapping. No change. My tablet and pen work perfectly in every other aspect of AP and AD and in all my other 'pen sensitive' graphic apps as well as in the El Capitan OS. The problem is unique to the Library in AP. Has anyone else experienced anything resembling this? Does anyone have any bright troubleshooting ideas? This is totally bizarre and frustrating. :( Mac Pro 2 x Quad Core. OSX 10.11.6. Intuos Touch Pro 5 Large.
