@Old Bruce I have set up the paragraph styles now how I like them. Is there a way to make it always default to that style like a persistent setting somewhere. -

@Old Bruce thank you for the reply, I have made note of your suggestions and am just about to explore them to see if I can get a better workflow going. Out of interest, what font size do you prefer and leading size Ian -

I have been tasked with creating some PDF's so I decided to use Affinity Publisher. Question: Is it better to create the main text in something like Word and then paste it into Publisher or is it the norm to write the text directly into Publisher using Text Frames? The reason for asking is that I am finding it confusing writing directly into Publisher. The distance between the lines of text always appears too small, making it cramped. I always have to use the leading override to increase the distance, which leads me to another question: is there a standard distance one should use? Thanks

If I have a grey object with a Luminance value of say 60%, I would have thought that the scope intensity value would read 60%. Setting the luminosity to 100% makes the scope display 100 and setting the luminosity to 0% makes the scope show 0 but the values in between don't seem to represent properly on the scope.
