  1. I have seen this also. One thing I have been doing to get around it is saving a selection to my own assets category and then choosing the asset in the other app. But, it sure seems like we should be able to copy to clipboard and use in the other Affinity apps.
  2. I keep having a problem where one node I want to move will not let me select it to move it. Gets frustrating. I can select the other nodes just fine, but not the particular one I want to move. I end up having to change out of Nodes tool to something else and then come back into Nodes tool and then I can usually select that node and move it. This has happened to me quite a few times.
  3. This has happened to me on every project I have done in Affinity 2 Designer and Photo. I am finding myself afraid to draw a new shape as it may crash. I have lost work numerous times now and I am really fed up with doing work over gain. If I have a shape I already created, I try to copy and paste or duplicate the shape, then reuse the new copy as I am afraid to try to draw a new shape and crash the app. Ot doesn’t seem to matter which shape it is. I’m about ready to give up and go back to Adobe. I can’t keep losing work and redoing it. I have reduced the time for auto-saving to lose less work, but still it is very, very frustrating. I was cursing up a storm last night as it crashed in middle of working on something. Had to apologize to my wife for my outburst. Crash also happens after deleting many layers one at a time. I never know when it will happen and how many deletes before it crashes. So, I get afraid to keep deleting items. Some projects have hundreds or even more layers and I sometimes need to delete layers to try to clean some things up and organize layers better.
  4. I experienced the same problem over the weekend crashing many times after deleting many layers. I have lost lots of work due to the numerous crashes in Designer and Photo v2 on iPad. Been working on a complex vector drawing with over 1500 layers. Deleting many layers not needed anymore as new layers above have superseded them now.
  5. Here are a few vector images I did with Designer. The penguin I did based on a ceramic penguin light we have. The yellowish bird was something my mom asked me to do that replicated a ceramic bird she has. My tea mug. A hummingbird I saw a picture of for reference. A medicine bottle with spray hose in it.
  6. Shadows got messed up on initial post. Not sure why. Anyway, I added a large border with very subtle flasks and some basic element symbols. I had this printed on 11x17 Acrylic to hang on the wall.
  7. I designer for iPad 2, I created a gradient and the reverse gradient button would not do anything. I had to manually change the colors. iPad Pro 12.9, iOS 16.1, Designer 2.0.1.2
  8. Something converted the colors and made it darker and more contrast than what I actually have in designer. Darn it.
  9. I took a photo of this particular homestead in Cades Cove at Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, USA. My photo looked very dark and dull as it was quite foggy and misty. I created this scene as a vector drawing, then added brush work in Pixel layers. I took a couple of liberties to make it brighter and less foggy. My wife wanted smoke from chimney of building on far right and so I added some. These homesteads here are not active and would not have any smoke.
  10. I see same issue on my iPad Pro, 12.9, iOS 16.1.
  11. Yes, same issue for me as well. Just wanted to add that replacing from Apple Photos worked fine, but not from Files. iPad Pro, 12.9, IOS 16.1
  12. Thanks @dannyg9 for the comments. Yes, I did this a while ago and since I took the photo at an angle and I used that as my reference, I got stuck trying to get perspective of things correct. I tried my best with the rotation and skew transformation settings, but just couldn’t get things exactly right. I think if I did it again in v2 with the warp perspective, it could be easier and better. I put a lot of hours into these projects. I did it for fun and another step in learning.
  13. Here is a screen shot of close up view of song cards inside the jukebox. These were the songs and artists in the jukebox I took a photo of, so I just used the same ones. The metal bars at bottom for rotating the sheets of songs available.
  14. Wife and I went to a 50’s style diner (Bel Air) and they had a wall jukebox (brought back old memories of playing music on jukeboxes) at our booth. I took a photo of it and their logo signs. I thought I would try creating vector images of their logo and the wall jukebox. I put all the song text inside the jukebox. The letter and number keys really were not perfectly the same. The cards inside the jukebox with the song titles were in rough shape (I didn’t try to duplicate that). I then created a counter with stools and root beer floats and a neon style Diner sign to add something extra. Hope somebody likes it.
